Thank You

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make last Sunday’s Installation Mass such a beautiful celebration. From the music and setup of the assembly to the parking lot volunteers, food organizers, and so many others behind the scenes—your dedication made the day truly special. It was an incredible joy to have the Archbishop with us, to celebrate together outdoors in such wonderful weather, and to share that moment with my parents and a small group from my home community in Newark, NJ. Everything went perfectly, and the Bishop was deeply pleased with both the turnout and the participation in the Life Chain afterward.

At times, I feel I’m given too much credit for what’s happening here at St. Mark. The truth is that it’s your generous help, enthusiasm, and support for our various initiatives that make this parish such a vibrant and welcoming community. Above all, we give glory to God, who sustains us and leads us forward every step of the way. I’m well aware of my own shortcomings—organization is not always my strongest suit!—so I truly recognize that it is God who is guiding this parish into a new and grace-filled chapter of our journey together.

This past year has been an incredible blessing for my priesthood. I’ve witnessed so many signs of God’s grace—people returning to the Church after years away, and new faces drawn to the Catholic faith. It fills me with deep gratitude and hope. I find myself right now doing my annual retreat, please keep me in your prayers, that I may continue serving this wonderful parish with love and faithfulness.

Fr. Raul
